TEACHING AND RESEARCH
Although
undergraduate students can take
many courses in European issues
given by the ESCSDU members from
different Departments, there is
so far no BA programme in
European Politics or European
Economics in Shandong
University. On the higher level,
however, the ESCSDU is making
some breakthrough in this
respect. At the moment, for
example, graduate students in
the SIP can select European
politics as their dissertation
topics and get M.A. and Ph.D.
degrees in international
politics. Therefore, the ESCSDU
is hopefully to be accredited to
grant M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in
European Politics in the near
future.
